    Transfers

Can I transfer money from my trading account if I have an open position?

Yes, you can. However, at the time of transferring funds from your trading account to your wallet, your free margin must exceed the requested amount.

Free margin is calculated as equity minus the necessary margin (which is required to maintain an open position).

If your trading account does not have sufficient free margin, the transfer from your trading account to your wallet will not be executed until you submit the correct amount of transfer and/or close some open positions.

You can request a withdrawal from your Tickmill wallet at any time.

Is broker to broker transfer allowed?

No, we do not support broker-to-broker transfer. We only offer our standard payment methods.

What conversion rates do you use?

Tickmill offers some of the most competitive exchange rates on the market.

Conversion rates depend on the type of transaction:

    • For deposits from an external funding source (i.e., from your credit card to your Tickmill wallet in another currency) and for withdrawals to an external funding source ( i.e., from your Tickmill wallet to a credit card in another currency), the conversion is processed in real-time based on current exchange rates.

    • For transfers between your Tickmill wallet and a trading account of a different currency, the conversion rate is shown at the bottom of the screen just before you click Confirm.
