FAQ
Wallets
You can transfer funds between your wallet and trading accounts by following these steps:
In the Wallets section, click Transfer from the right-side panel of your chosen wallet, or alternatively select Transfer from the navigation tab.
Select the source of funds. If you clicked Transfer from the Wallets screen, that wallet will be selected by default. Otherwise, choose the desired wallet or trading account from the dropdown menu.
Choose the destination for these funds to be transferred. You can transfer between a trading account and a wallet of the same currency or from one wallet to another wallet of a different currency.
Specify the Amount you would like to transfer and click Confirm.
Once the transfer is complete, you will see the updated balance in the relevant wallet or trading account. You can view the full details under the Transaction History tab.
You can create multiple wallets in the following currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, or ZAR. The wallet currencies available to you depend on your country of residence.
Note: ZAR is only available to residents of South Africa.
The Tickmill wallet acts as a central account, allowing you to transfer funds to and from your trading accounts. The main advantage of depositing into your wallet, rather than directly into a trading account, is that your funds remain protected from any open positions that you may have in your trading account.
