Triple swaps are charged once a week to account for Saturday and Sunday, when the markets are closed.
For FX pairs, Gold, and Silver, triple swaps apply to positions held overnight on Wednesday.
For all other instruments, the triple swap is applied on Friday.
This is a standard practice across the industry.
Example:
If you open a 1-lot long position on EURAUD, the overnight swap charge would be –14.11 AUD.
If you hold this position overnight on Wednesday, the charge would be –14.11 × 3 = –42.33 AUD.
If your account currency is in USD, the swap is converted to USD using the AUDUSD spot rate.
We update the swaps based on the rates given to us by our counterparties. We recommend checking them directly within your MetaTrader platform. You can also view our updated swaps by clicking here.
